Graham talks SU offer
Harrison City (PA) Penn Trafford offensive guard Luke Graham has a handful of offers at this time. One of his most recent scholarship offers came from Syracuse University. CuseConfidential.com caught up with Graham to get his thoughts on the Big East program.
"Syracuse offered me about a week maybe two weeks ago," Graham said. "It was interesting, they are rebuilding the program up there. It is definitely something to consider."
Graham, 6-foot-5. 260 pounds does not know much about the Orange, but he is ready to do his research.
"I do not know much about the school itself, so that will obviously take some research. I know the football team was struggling, but it looks like they are turning over a new leaf up there which is respectable."
When the prospect was offered by the Orange the coaches told him why they wanted him at Syracuse and Graham enjoyed hearing what they had to say.
"The things they say are very flattering. They want my kind of player up there to help build the program and things of that nature."
Dan Conley is recruiting Graham for the Orange and he has told Graham that they are not set on him playing just guard at Syracuse.
"They are looking for me to play offensive line. They have not picked a spot it's kind of generic either tackle or guard."
Right now even with a lot of offers in hand Graham is still not ready to name any school as a leader.
"Not yet I am keeping a completely open mind to everything."
Other than Syracuse three other schools have jumped into the mix. Two with scholarship offers and the other is showing strong interest.
"I am talking to Notre Dame a little bit. Stanford and Virgina recently offered me those are two new ones."
A decision is not expected anytime soon as Graham will take his visits before deciding.
"That will come after I visit all of the schools and I will take it from there. That might be at the end of the summer or it might be during the season. It all depends I do not want to rush things."
