"On the Hoof: Has the ideal height and overall size for a pro-style quarterback. Physically he is most reminiscent of Texas freshman Connor Wood.
Needs Improvement: Learning to take more snaps under center while concentrating on just one sport throughout the year. He will also need to slide and protect himself when running the ball at the next level against bigger and faster defenders.
Most Impressive: Has tremendous overall size, a big arm and a quick release. He also has good spin and touch on all of his passes. Driskel is also very mobile for a big quarterback and has the ability to buy more time in the pocket or make unscripted yardage with his feet.
Conclusion: It will be interesting to see how much baseball factors into his decision come Signing Day next February. He has all the tools to become a solid DI football player with pro potential.
