Tausch connected on 9-of-15 field goals as a senior at Dallas Jesuit. He also converted 22 of his 41 kickoff attempts into touchbacks. After taking out directional kicks, Tausch averaged 72 yards per kickoff attempt. The Irish commitment worked as the team's punter as well, averaging 37.1 yards on his 29 attempts with 10 of those ending inside the opponent's 20-yard line.
