"On the Hoof: Huge upper body and has natural hip and knee flexibility. He has similar size and build as LSU DT Josh Downs.
Needs Improvement: How much weight can he hold on his already almost maxed-out frame? Jackson must keep his head up and not lose sight of the ball, putting himself in a vulnerable position while pass rushing.
Most Impressive: He is extremely quick off the ball and really understands the importance of winning the leverage battle. Jackson uses his hands to keep offensive linemen from getting to his body and he is also very strong for his size.
Conclusion: He is a high-character kid that is going to do what the coaches tell him to do to get better. Most likely will redshirt while he tries to gain an extra 10 pounds of muscle. If he can stay healthy, expect him to become a solid two- to three-year starter.
