When West Branch (Mich.) Ogemaw Heights defensive lineman Anthony Zettel verbally committed to the Penn State coaching staff, it was a turning point in Penn State's Class of 2011. Read more on Zettel right here, only on...[details]
"On the Hoof: Possesses a muscular, yet lean frame that could easily hold 30 more pounds of muscle mass. Zettel has thick shoulders and legs with very little body fat. He looks more like the quintessential strongside defensive end than an offensive lineman. He will remind fans physically of Florida freshman Ian Silberman.
Needs Improvement: Does he have the frame to add enough weight to play offensive line at the next level? Not sure he will have the bulk to play offensive guard. He may have to project as an offensive center or offensive tackle.
Most Impressive: Has tremendous overall body structure and a motor that never quits. Zettel is one of the hardest workers in the country. He has no problem going 110 percent on every practice rep. He is also very versatile and could play on either side of the ball.
Conclusion: Having seen him for two days at the Badger Linemen Camp, Zettel really reminds me of a young Grant Wistrom. He is quick off the ball and strong enough to stuff the run.
