"On the Hoof: Edmond has an excellent powerbase and lower leg strength for a linebacker. He has a wide arm span and good thickness through the shoulders and chest.
Needs Improvement: Has a tendency to arm tackle too much. His level of competition is not ideal and making the transition to D-I football could take some time. Can he make the move to outside linebacker and cover backs in the flat?
Most Impressive: Does a nice job of side-stepping blockers and getting to the ballcarrier in a hurry. This also makes him an excellent blitzing pass rusher coming right up the gut and damaging the quarterback’s line of sight. Devastating hitter, and he can change the outcome of a game in an instant.
Conclusion: Has the athletic ability to possibly play any of the three linebacker positions. This means he could see the field quicker than other linebackers in this recruiting class. Expect him to be a slobberknocker on kick coverage.
